    First ride at Kembla Grange

Hey peeps, Had my first ride at Kembla Grange (Wollongong City Raceway) this morning. Had the place to myself. Managed to keep it upright too! What a blast :p PS are there any motard riders on here still going to Kembla?

    Mini Motard setup

Probably depends more on the quality of the fork. Cheap USD forks with no adjustment are not any better IMO. I plan to add a fork brace to reduce flex, but my main hurdle will be lack of adjustment. PS that green :p kick starter is going. You can have it once I find a decent cast one.

    Mini Motard setup

Thanks! pretty happy with the note it makes too. It is noticeably quieter than the stock canister (which was ridiculously loud and crackly). I plan to swap between pipes at the track to see if i can notice any difference in the power delivery. Just having fun tinkering at the moment :p

    Mini Motard setup

That depends what you plan to do with it and what it sells for. If you just want to try motard and the price is right it might be a good buy for you. He's obviously spent some coin on it and it does *read* like it has the goods, but being a 2nd hand Chinese bike, I'd inspect in person and...

    questions about rear suspension styles...

Yep definitely, my last post read wrong. The bikes are crated with this set-up and like everything else i have seen so far, come from China. I should have said "...if the company in China making these bikes buy enough units from the manufacturer..." I'm going to try and get back to the shop...

    questions about rear suspension styles...

I can see what you're saying. I suppose it depends on how many forks they buy, if they buy enough units from the manufacturer, their cost price would be a lot less than what they sell for individually. Assassin clearly don't spend anything on marketing... lol. It has me interested enough to go...

    questions about rear suspension styles...

No that bike pictured is aparently the previous model. They still had one, forks were not adjustable though. The bike looked similar to that model, only different tripple clamps and they had Marzocchi printed on them.

    questions about rear suspension styles...

The claimed Marchozzi forks on the Assassin bike looked just like these forks on ebay. Claimed to be a similar RRP and were the same length (645mm). What are genuine 645mm Marchozzi's supposed to be worth? Cheers boys!

    questions about rear suspension styles...

Yes i thought it seemed very good value (maybe not!). Does anyone know what unique identification marks are on the Marzocchi forks? I thought i read somewhere that the Marzocchi forks are now made in asia somewhere? Could these be the "genuine" asian version? I'll go back with my...

    questions about rear suspension styles...

Hi all, I'm new to the mini scene and looking to buy my first mini motard :p So far I've inspected Atomik (obviously junk), Dirtmax (looked to be high quality) and Assassin (looked to be very good value). I have some questions about the different rear suspension styles. The Dirtmax...
