    hey mate , got kit in america 160 us , barrel , pin piston rings and top end gasket set. ah personaly , and i have done it, do up the motor thats there . Because its 6 v and is meant for your whole electrics, if you get a china it is 12 v and you wont be able to use the stock 6v system.

    yeh , if you want my opinion the 500 ***** on pretty much everything, having said that two strokes are not for everyone. why would age matter of how good the bike runs obviously eg engine wear , but the older the bike i rekon the more power they have , back then they hadnt heard of...

    possibly, i thought i heard once , " good up to 10,000 revs" , whether that was on the crank or IRK" , but a inblalanced crank at high rpm could lead to that ?

    sounds like ya clutch is worn out or slipping , adjust it , or replace the clutch plates.

    haha i think 1100ml is maximum, for some bikes but bigger 140cc may take more, yeh just fill and check until desired amound it reached.

    mjc85 , i think that is it , yeh start bike , crap sitting in the float bowl , it get sucked up near the jet , restricts the fuel flow at high rmp , DIE , and then goes back down after it sits , and is fine , so yeh get the carby cleaned out , usualy happens to new bikes when they drill stuff...

    crf engine has no spark

    no spark ay , sounds like the cdi man.. if you can somehow borrow a cdi from another bike try it and rule it out. if not , could be coil , which it never usualy is , faulty ignition switch ? or at the worst could be the stator ? let us know how u go.

    yeh LOL , i have to agree.. Ninetysix was getting a huge smell of fuel in the exhaust pipe, highly doubt it was ever the carby, id say with all the shaving , scratching with the IRK it has affected it, thus timing is out..? just to confirm put ya old stator on and see if it kicks ova

    what the hell.. yeh.. the fuel is causing no fire ? i think not , it would be the irk not delivering the spark at the right time , and when it does fire it slowly from the right spot moves and then turns off.

    i am disagreeing with you NinetySix , to gain power on an engine you have to take out restrictions on the motor , for one letting it breathe better , bigger carby and filter , An exhaust will let it get rid of exhaust quicker , and an IRK will let it rev quicker due to having a lighter...

    yeh as i suspected , you can go through everything that is involved with getting your bike running and it comes down to ignition timing, so yeh what motor did you put this IRK on ?

    drift you say , 1st come into turn with some speed, 2nd brake, 3rd clutch in 4th rev engine 5th dump cltuch 6th spin ya tyre :D
