    something wierd just happened, i started hitting it with a screwdriver and hammer coz i was out of ideas and the nut had resistance and unlocked and fortunately the threads are perfect, i got the whole clutch basket off, what do i do from here? (a picture would help alot as i don't know the name...

    none of the gears are moving? I got the piston jammed up already.

    i undone the oil slinger and took the spring retainer off, the clutch nut on the clutch basket just keeps turning without undoing anything.

    i got the mechanism jammed up already, i put a bar through the head studs to stop the piston from moving.

    It's too hard to take off, im not using the clutch tool with a ratchet :/

    I ordered it last night as using a hammer/screwdriver didn't work and caused too much wear on the nut. What do i have to do after i get the clutch basket off?

    I don't have a clutch tool :/, should i order it or just use a screwdriver/hammer? Also is there another one of these clutch nuts under the spring retainer plate?

    Progress update 1: Got the head/barrel off,opened the clutch cover, and don't know what to do from here, stuck on this bit what do i do from here?

    Can someone just briefly clarify the order i have to take the engine part in? Also i got brand new bottom end gaskets and 1 ride old head gaskets, do i have to replace the head gaskets?

    Hi guys, I've dismantled the engine from the frame on my pitster pro x4r and was wondering where do i start off with splitting the case, i've got to install a new kick start shaft so help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
