get the muity meter out put it on volts, at aroud idel it should be 12ish volts and when you give it rev's you will see the volts rise aswell to round 13-14volts that will tell you if it chargeing or not

yer checked if they got gap or not if they got onr that can stop them from starting

yer they dont need the choke always hav the motor had some running time cos if it have it might need the valves done

the choke is off in that top photo with the butterfly open when it closed the choke is on the air fuel mixer screw you should screw it alway in and bac it off 1 and 1/2 turn see how it runs then 1 and 3/4 turns then 2 then 2 and 1/2 and find whats it likes the best

need a take off plate for the head

undo the screw for a lil and let some fuel flow, flush the carby out
