Rhe clutch cable mount on the motor was loose. Could that affect it??

Hey guys I have a brand new pitster 160ho motor. Only done a hour of riding Mainly in 4th on load its popping into neutral. Any ideas wgy this would happen??? Motor issues??? Or clutch ya think??? Had same motor in with same clutch set up etc and had no worries
