GPX Kickstart mod to solve kickback

Just tried this on my GPX 125. It worked like a charm on the kickback starting problem, but now I seem to be having some performance trouble at high-revs. I tried this with a spare flywheel so I'm not sure if it's a difference in the flywheels or something else. I'm a bit reluctant to try it...

    Stator Plate leaking oil

Yep, I definitely do not have any o-rings for the bolts, so it looks like I'm going to have to buy some. Obviously the ID must be at least 6mm, any idea what the OD is? Also do the o-rings go underneath the bolt head and on top of the countersunk depression or inside the bolt-hole?

    Stator Plate leaking oil

Actually I didn't even realise there were seals around the bolts so I definitely didn't transfer them over. That's probably it. Cheers!

    Stator Plate leaking oil

Hey Guys, Just replaced my stator plate due to a damaged sensor mount and it's leaking oil. My replacement plate didn't come with seals so I just resued the ones from the damaged plate, they looked okay at the time, but either they weren't or I didn't install it properly. Any tips on...

    ORK Electrical Power

Oh :#). You know, I couldn't find that written down anywhere.

    ORK Electrical Power

Anyone know how much electrical power an ORK produces? I need 150W for my road-bike.

    GPX 125cc Destroyed Sensor Pickup

It's a Sachs Madass Frame, so it uses a three-phase setup shown below. Its way different from the regular setup so it's going to be a b***h to change over

    GPX 125cc Destroyed Sensor Pickup

It's a Sachs MadAss frame so it uses the following three-phase stator setup. It's pretty different from the regular pit-bike setup so it's going to be a b**ch to change.

    GPX 125cc Destroyed Sensor Pickup

Actually i'm still not sure it was the chain because the chain wasn't off the sprocket or anything so either it suddenly jumped a tooth and smashed the sensor in the process or it must be something else. I can't run an ORK without doing some serious modifications to my electrical...

    GPX 125cc Destroyed Sensor Pickup

Okay so the engine had this stator and magneto originally Which I changed to this one because I needed more power for my accessories However the engine just ate this one so I pulled the pickup off the original one and put it on. I only managed to fit one screw because the brackets are...

    GPX 125cc Destroyed Sensor Pickup

Any ideas on this? I was riding my bike along and then all of a sudden the engine just dies. After playing with it for a bit looks like there's no spark. So i take off the cover and find that the thing just ate its sensor pickup, there's bits of shredded plastic and copper filling the whole...

Jialing GPX 125 Neutral Switch Contact

Actually I find it to be a real bugger to find neutral, maybe I just need more practice with the gear changes  Of course when I don't want to be in neutral that's when I tend to find it, that's why I want the light to work so I don't get mack trucked! I've contacted the KDFSport...

Jialing GPX 125 Neutral Switch Contact

I've chucked it in a Sachs Madass 125 b/c the stock engine shat itself. I don't mind the 1N234 actually, it's pretty good for road riding because it means I don't drop it into neutral at the lights. I just want to make the neutral switch work because I either can't run it with the stand down...

Jialing GPX 125 Neutral Switch Contact

Hey Guys, Quick question. I bought this engine recently and noticed that it's actually a 1N234 not an N1234. This is actually better for road riding IMHO, but it doesn't come with a neutral switch contact, there's just a washer sitting on the bolt that goes onto the gear-shift drum. I tried...

Correct Jet Sizes for GPX Jialing 125 and Mikuni 26mm

Yep that was it. :#) Thanks for all the help guys! JHZ

Correct Jet Sizes for GPX Jialing 125 and Mikuni 26mm

It's a "genuine" Mikuni 26 with the lever choke. I didn't realise that it's a seperate circuit, maybe I've got it in the wrong position. Part of me hopes that's it because it'll fix the problem, but it'll also mean I've been a complete douchbag the whole time.

Correct Jet Sizes for GPX Jialing 125 and Mikuni 26mm

Well I changed the pilot jet this morning to a #20 and the idle dropped to a more reasonable level which is great. But I did notice that adjusting the idle screw still doesn't do anything, which does seem to indicate that there's a problem with the idle adjust as you've all been saying. I'm...

Correct Jet Sizes for GPX Jialing 125 and Mikuni 26mm

Checked the cable and the slide, both good, even tried disconnecting the throttle cable entirely to make sure, but it's not the problem. While I was at it, I also had a look at the jet sizes, #95 main jet and #15 pilot jet. I'm guessing the pilot jet is way too big (small?) and that's the...

Correct Jet Sizes for GPX Jialing 125 and Mikuni 26mm

That makes sense, I'll check tonight when I get home. I'd still like some confirmation of the jet sizes so if anyone knows what they should be please post them and I'll check to see what I've got at the same time. Cheers, JHZ

Correct Jet Sizes for GPX Jialing 125 and Mikuni 26mm

Will do mate. Are you asking b/c you believe the jetting should be right and it must be something else? Or is it just another common cause that I should check first?
