Hi all, I haven't been on here in forever. I started building a motovert rx125 with a z160 a couple of years ago. I got up to doing the electrics (which aren't my forte) and had a break from it for a while then got so busy I just didn't have the time to ride let alone finish a build. It...

It's all done except for some electrical stuff and the lifan ORK. I haven't had time the last few months to do any work on it. Hopefully now our new house is finished I'll get back into it once we move in.

I had never heard of an st90 before so I started googling and eventually found a pic... Is that what you have? If so that is AWESOME! Are they registerable?

When you get your oko make sure you get a chain also, you won't gain any performance but the cheap things that come on the bikes stretch constantly and you have to keep adjusting the tension. I get the gold DID ones from DHZ for my bikes.

Thanks for the info. I ended up getting RACING OUTROTOR KIT, ADJUST TIMING, SEMI-DIGI CDI, HARNESS - DHZ Mini Moto but 3mm needs to be taken off the back plate apparently. I feel your pain with the wiring though, it's a nightmare if you are flying blind.

I got mine from revmx and they don't come with the extra wire off the stator (doesn't have a yellow wire) I've ordered the one that the other guys recommended and I'll just get 3mm taken off the back. Ended up costing more than buying off DHZ, but i've learnt my lesson :mad:

So by the sounds of it there isn't one that fits out of the box if people go to this trouble? What about the ones that are factory fitted on some of the z160's? Surely you can get one of them somewhere?

Can this be done with a grinder? or does it need to be more precise? If it requires special tools id rather just get one that fits out of the box.

I have asked in a few threads but have yet to come to a conclusion so I thought I would make a thread about it to try and get a definitive answer. My z160 currently has an ORK but with no yellow wire. I need to be able to charge a battery... I have read every thread I can find on it but...

lol, I'm just after an ORK that fits a z160. Sage got one from ooracing, that's what I was asking about postage for as they are in the UK.

I'm assuming you mean $190? and that's for the ooracing one? or one he has a different one to fit a z160? I thought if they had one to suit a z160 they would have pointed me in the right direction rather than just saying the one i asked about wont fit.

How much was it posted to aus? If it works ok I'll probably grab one also for my z160 as I'm having trouble finding one with charging.

Ok thanks, looks like that switch block will work, I'll just remove the lights off it as they probably wont like two light switches with one not working lol. I think I have learnt my lesson with the stand, maybe... The plastics are on at the moment but I have dodgied the wiring all up so...
