ok, i got rid of all the dirt in the bowl and cleaned thoroughly, now behind the choke plate (main carb area) needs to be cleaned, after this is done i will let you know what happened and i hope this all works out :) thanks for your help people!

ok now im starting to get somewhere, i've cleaned the bowl there was a bit of dirt in there, nothing major, i think behind the choke plate theres alot of dirt, but i need allen keys for that :P thanks ill let you know what happens.

I've fixed the pull-start.. only problem now is the petrol tap spins round and round and doesn't allow me to turn the petorl on/off. after i have fixed that i will clean the carb out thoroughly. Any1 help with the petrol tap?

i havn't pulled it apart yet my allen keys are rounded off so i need some new ones, ill get it sorted by the end of the week.. the only thing i took off was the white nob which turns the petrol on and off.. now that has gone loose and i dont think it turns the petrol on/off anymore.. how can i...

ok, sry, ill take apart the carby and clean it out, shall i clean with water once taken apart? then wait till dry? soz about the stupid questions but i dont want to mess it up totally... the bike starts right now but dies out once you let go of the revs..

Not anymore, I'm having the worst bad luck ever!!!! my bike was cutting out yesterday and wouldn't start.. soon after.. the fucking pull-start messed up inside and now thats fucked, still leaks and wont start! i need a stepbystep guide to putting the pullstart back together! any online...

ok DUDE i'm getting one tomorow. the petrol leaks from the little plastic pipe under the carb, why does it leak at a full tank, whenever i turn my petrol on ? EDIT: this is an image of the pipe near the carb which leaks! www.itsthechill.com/pipe.jpg

I asked my neighbour who's good with motorbikes and he told me to put thin material e.g Tights, so i placed tights over where the filter should be, now the bike is running as normal. Only problem now is my petrol is leaking whenever i turn the petrol on! Do you know any way to solve this...

maybe, im a newbie to fixing bikes, can ride them quite gud but cannot work with them, lol got chased by council all over the local park to a scrubber area nearly got my 50cc siezed off me :O... ill update this topic tomorow.

ah ok, tomorow i will try and take the carb apart step by step and clean it out... i dont want to end up taking it apart and then forgetting which bit goes where and then leaving the bike in a none working state

I know i got told, so the other day i put a thin material sock over wherte the filter should be, it sucks in air as i can see and keeps dirt out, only problem is it keeps doing the same thing, cutting out and dying out.... any help?

Hi, i have a mini dirtbike 50cc 2 stroke engine. my uncle passed this bike onto me, the bike has no air filter as my cousins had misplaced it somewhere. The bike constantly dies out, the revs die out and then the bike cuts out once at a very low speed,, is this something to do with the air...
