He guys,
I finally bought a Keihin PE28 to go on my 155z with a V2 head and big bore kit.
I've had no luck with the OKO 26mm and OKO 30mm, so here's hoping.
My main question is what jetting should I go for?
I've seen plenty about jetting for the 190 anima, but then again that has...
Hi im new here , Im wondering what everyones thoughts are on the 155z engines., the engine in question is a 2010 build. Is this the HO motor ,how can I tell on the engine?, the barrel has 155z stamped on it.
cheers Shannon
an engine i worked on had a lot of rubber in the oil filter strainer down the front/bottom of the r/h engine case
so i thought i had better check the clutch basket.
it looked ok, but when i held the alloy basket, i could move the gear on the back forwads and backwards.
that shouldn't happen...
I currently have a 2010 dpro 160 with the 155z engine (oval cam chain cover) and shes getting a bit smokey.
Ive changed the rings with little or no improvement.
Some have suggested valve stem seals which seems too hard for a rookie engine wizz like me so im thinking of buying a yx head (with...
Sold my old 155z v2 headed motor and lasted all of 10 mins apparently, I was told by someone there when he installed it that he used any old filthy oil out of the drained oil drum and when it went bang at top end around 12000 rpm she grenaded, not the worst ive seen but none the less it caused...

Hey guys,
I am looking at buying a yx160 for my bro's build, and also looking at the possibilities of rebuilding it in the future with the spares I have.
So in effect my question is:
Will a GPX 155z/160ho Head, Cylinder & Piston, fit on a yx160 bottom end?
If not, what would I have...
Took the bike for a spin again to try another jet setup in the 28mm koso, went from a 36 idle to 40 and made the bike run junk again at lower revs so ive got a 38 on the way to try, everything was good going, got nearly to the top and i dont know what happened but i think the front wheel came...
the camera doesnt show the true angle but it is quite steep and loose rocks and dirt, having a 155 with hi-comp piston and v2 also with the 1/4 turn throttle can make it quite interesting trying to wrestle it all together.

I'll go first:)
When you turn the manifold around on a KLX and chop the starter boss off, you need a shorter tensioner. I use the YX/Z ones. If you are SURE you are smarter than a spring-loaded plunger, and nearly as diligent, you can either buy a $100 "billet" adjustable one, or spend 5...
