well after riding on the weekend realizing how slow my bike is i swapped heads off my 107cc china and put it on my 88cc and it was a perfect fit not 1 problem!!!!! went straight on and it dead set started 1st kick!!!!

but ..... it doesnt run right obviosly , it starts first kick every time but will only run pretty badly for about 3 seconds then die , havnt played around with it much but hoping to fiddle with it tomorow some more

its still running the takegawa manifold wich is tiny for the heads intake port because the other one i got wont fit under the frame so could this be the problem? i wouldnt think so.....

Cheers

i'd say the intake may be the problem like you said ...the 107cc heads should be an e22 if it all lines up with stock cylinder spacing
what carb you running? may need to go bigger

carb is 20mm that came with my TBR 88 kit and same with manifold.... what size you reckon 22 or 24 carby? mite buy a carby with manifold then

Thanks

20-22mm should be fine. you would probably need to open your existing manifold to match the port of the 107cc head and then play the jetting game to run your existing 20mm carb or buy a decent 22mm and go from their

swapped manifolds and using the carby off the 110 i think its a 19mm?? starts idles nice and goes pretty well from what i can see so far will test it tomorow at the block :D and eventually get the 20mm carby going and then maybe sell this engine as ive got tb88RH coming soon... mite just put it in the china hmmmm

^^^^ good stuff.. their suppose to be a quality head with a 88 combo
