hey my bike wont idle at all in order to keep it running ive been having to keep the revs up or it will just die, i tried cleaning the carburator and cleaning the jets, the onloy thing else i think it could be is the shark plug which is next to be checked, do any of you guys know what else it might be? thanks

how's the commpression?
If you haven't done your valve clearances recently do it NOW before mucking around with anything else

nevermind ill go check the clearances and ill let you know anyone know what the clearance is supposed to be for this bike? and i gots get some feeler gauges too haha

well its not the spark plug could i have mabi tweaked the float in the carb and need to change that a bit? mabi that will fix the idleing problem? if not theres nothing else but the valves messurements and i have to go get feeler gauges for that

If you've never done them before than you be sure they'll be tight as hell, these engine need constant valve adjustments to keep them running good

like tighten them down hella tight? do i have to use a feeler gauge? and how often would you say they need valve adjustments?

no, the idea is to put a gap there so don't get "hella tight", once they start tightening up again you set the gap again. when the bike is new you should do it after every decent ride. After the bike's well and truly run in just whenever you have running troubles or loss of compression, if you don't have any problems then after every 10 hours riding just to make sure

you think tightening the throttle is the problem? and when it runs it sounds a bit like its back firing like it makes a poppinbg noise

also its a 3 valve 110cc if that makes a difference in anything

throttle's not the problem by the sounds of it, you're probably running a bit lean if the popping is heavy, if it's a pop n crackle only sometimes on deceleration that's normal

you don't have to use feeler guages, 2 sheets of paper should do the trick

what should i do if im running a bit lean? and okay so two papers will work, awsome
