Hey everyone,
Im thinking of building a mini bike and using the 110cc Lifan motor.
Just wandering if anyone has any ideas for motor work, such as what parts like upgraded heads, bores etc... and also what carby would you recommend to run. Cheers :)

I wouldn´t upgrade it. The clutch basket is weak cast and explodes if you upgrade the motor. You are better off buying secondary clutched engine.

Some basic mod's should help to the you going a bit quicker, clean up the port's in the head, bigger valve's, bore the cylinder and fit a bigger high comp piston etc

We have a member here that run's his CT horizontal engine at 190cc

Here it is at 127cc, sound's very strong

Otherwise just fit a Lifan 140 or similar, i've helped a friend get his GPX140 postie going very well, he love's it.
Classic Honda 50's and DHZ sell the kit's to fit the china engine's.

I bought a similar one and got really good advice from this company in Ontario. I replaced the carb,CDI air filter and it runs great. They were very helpful.

Hope it helps
