I got a motoworks 125cc pit bike off ebay and they go pretty good for a first bike. Just wondering if innova 14/12 tyres would fit on it and which oil i should use, i got mobil 15w50 4T full synthetic today but i havnt put it in yet. I had mobil 10w40 4T in it though it wasnt in the shop. Check it out please!

That is it though i bought mine a while ago and its got a lifan engine. I also added a new uni filter, new shock, quarter turn throttle and chain. :D

Thanks!

okay, the innova tires will fit providing they are going on the same size'd rims (14", 12"), i have been told to run in on motul 1000 (oil change after each tank of fuel, 4 tanks, 4 oil changes) and thats the run in done! then use whatever you wish to use after... (thats what i was told by linda at MSO)

I couldn't get mobil let alone motol at the time to run in the motor so I used Motorex Formular 10w40 Semi synthetic very good stuff though its pretty pricey. The original oil in the bike was black sludge you wouldnt even run in your mower so it had to go.

The 15w50 grade should be fine, from motol.com "15W50 is for race engines running at very high temperature & rpm" where as "10w40 is for race engines running at high temperature over a wide rpm range"

The Innova tyres are just average so for the about the same price or a little more you can get a better quality Vee Rubber, Bridgestone or dunlop and they are well worth spending the few extra dollars on.

As for the oil I just go with the cheapest 20w50 and its also a good idea to get a magnetic oil drainer bolt.
