hey fellas have a 2014 klx110l everything pretty much stock on it i have cut out the back of the airbox where the frame hole is and drilled out the exhaust rite at the header pipe to open it up took it for a test ride and runs like **** would the better option be to jet the stock carby or go for a bigger carby to get some more power out of it ?? cheers for the help

If that's all you have done is open the airbox and exhaust up then the stock carb will be fine to rejet.

You won't get stuff all more power out of a bigger carb with those mods. Not worth it IMO.

Only need a bigger carb if you go the 143 upwards bore kits.

Chuck some pics up for us. Haven't seen a klx floating around here in a while. :)

Welcome to Miniriders Ryan,

make sure you drop in and say hello in our Introduce Yourself thread too while you atre here.

the earlier models look like they have a Keihin maybe a PZ19 ? or something like it.
it might need a bigger pilot jet now if it is getting more air?

try turning the mixture screw in maybe half a turn and try the bike again

thanks boys so just a bigger pilot and play around with the mixture does sound a hole lot easier than a new carby haha will let you know how it goes heres a pic IMG_2741.PNG
