250 trouble

Hey there yesterday i took my Hummer(zongshen GC250) through a little puddle and it cut out when i brought it home it was still turning over but not starting checked the carby no water in there.
Although there wasnt a spark ???? and today when i went to try and turn it over nothing is happening at all not even turning over ...!!!
i think its an electrical fault...got a multimeter but no idea where to start ???
Any help will do ?

im preety positive you have got water into the CDI, your best off buying a new one.
if not, the ignition coil has got water in it or even less likely your spark plug is fouled/stuffed.
