Just stumbled upon this video... I know it's an old thread, but the video is excellent, and it brought back all kinds of good memories. Our jumps were nowhere near as big back in the day, but we easily chewed as much dirt, LOL. Awesome footage, the one sequence with the chopper flying alongside was classic... I don't know what happened to this hand, for him to check out so early in life, but he was one hell of a rider. Seeing him jump so smoothly toward the end of the film reminded me of watching those high-flyin' Metal Mulisha boyz as they logged serious flight time at the Centennial Air Show on NAS North Island a few years ago. And this hand was soaring on a BMX bike, catching as much air with no motor or mechanical advantage. What a cool video, I like how the filmmaker(s) balanced the action with shots of eating $h!t, that's about as realistic as it gets for all BMX riders. The young hand who stars in this video has all the hallmarks of the excellent rider: once he dials in the jumps, he makes it all look easy. Many belated thanks to the OP for sharing this video, this was the first time I saw it, and it totally brought back a flood of good memories.
