acceleration issues

hi i have a mini moto i dont know much about them or it all i know is it looks a mini dirtbike anyway i had the carb professionally cleaned and it started to run as it stopped one day and didnt want to start again its now all running but has one downfall it has great top end speed but rubbish acceleration and if you open it up it just dies out i live in france on a family owned cottage complex bar restaurant that has 15 acres of land but as soon as im on it i go to the bottom and push the thing back up is there anyway of changing top end for acceleration its an automatic
