ok, so i went and had a look at a 09 crf 50 then and got quoted $1780 brand new.

i dont remember them being that small either, i might be having second thoughts

someone please convince me to buy one haha give me reasons to haha

or should i just buy a pitster pro x4r?

thanks

x4r all the way lol, this thread is gonna turn into a s#itstorm lol

crf's are cool but they're so tiny, you mod them out and make them bigger with forks, frame, swingarm etc, then you need to work the engine....... pretty much once you're done modding a crf50 to suit a big rider you'll only be using the crankcase and the fuel tank and some other small bits.

x4r you just buy it, chuck on a decent chain and carby and you're set, they're more than big enough for an adult rider. of course it won't last as long as a good crf50, but it's loads offun and way less work to be done to make it rideable.

if you want a tiny bike that needs a sheeeetload of mods to make it good get a crf50, if you wanna bike that you can just jump on and ride, get a pitster

go a half built crf50 , that way it will be good and rideable already , save you alot of money .. and then you can mod it further however you want.

like something with at least the basics , shock +1 forks , hd pegmount , bars etc . then go from there. you will have a ball on one of them .

You COULD go either way depending on what you want to do.

You could build up a nicely set-up Stocker, which would be fun to start off DEAD STOCK but will still cost a bit of $$$.

OR you could buy one already Modified and you can fix up a few things like what I have done with mine!

Really comes down to how much $$$ your willing to spend...but it would be fun to build up a nice BULLETPROOF Stocker!

Either way you would have HEAPS GOOD FUN on a CRF50 ;)

yeh acctual screw it ay, im buying a stocker and doing it up myself, ive already got a billet cradle frame with peg mounts on the way.. and after my bday which is soon i should have enough money to buy shocks and that so its all good, not about the money really, i dont mind if not on the bike strait away i just want a killlerrrrr crf ay
