Just got an email confiming Chad Reed will be running in the SX race at Phillip Island next week, so 2 of Aus best and most talented riders will both be racing at the same venue on the same weekend. This is gonna be Awesome, so can't wait till Thurs next week to make the journey down

I'll be down there too! I'm working as a track marshall. So I'll put up on here where I'll be stationed and anyone can come by and say Hi! Might even be able to get a few nice shots for you from the right side of the fence.!!!

That'd be sweet mate Iv'e got Bass Striaght GS tickets for this year, so i'll be rugging up me thinks... Should be fun being a marshal, lets just hope for no reapeat of what happened at the supers eariler this year

There wont and can't be a repeat. I raced there last weekend and there is now a tyre wall all the way across to southern loop and double wall of airfence in front of the tyres. The only way someone is entering the track the same way is if they do a Nicky Hayden.
The supercross track also look mint, the dirt has already been down for 2 weeks so the track should stay together no matter what weather is thrown at it. A bonus for GP ticket holders is the free entry!

Good stuff Gettin real keen now Just look for a giant in Rossi apparel and that'll be me, not hard to spot in a crowd + or look for the Giant and his tiny (5ft) wife, both in Rossi gear.... Even easier to spot

I just found out that i'll be stationed at marshal sector point 1.1L
So that's Turn 1, station 1, on the left side of the rider.

I don't know exactly where that is on the track but my guess is either right in front of you at the bottom of turn 1 or on the start finish line.

Dad (Slowpink) is at 9.6R, Over the top of Lukey Heights, my guess is in front of the grandstand.
