anyone put a daytona 150 in crf50

[crf50 2008]

has anyone put a daytona 150 in crf50
either stock frame or upgraded frame & swingarm combos something like an 88 limited type of build.
wondering how it went or build troubles

WAAAAY to much power ..

Better off spending that kind of money on the stock engine . you can get a honda fast enough with that amount of cash.. and best of all its still a honda.

you can put anymotor you want in there, they all bolt in easy. but you will need a pipe and carby to suit

Why do you want to replace engine?

For 1 it will be a little longer so will rub front wheel depending what frame suspension you get
and you will need a oil cooler mount and carb clearance will be another.

Why dont you want to hot up the stock engine?

i want a stock 50 and a rocket 50 but for the price of an 88 kit i can get a 155z that would blow it away and should be reliable?????

You can go bigger then 88 .

But anyway .

Even the 155 will be abit to much in a 50 chassis , trust me.

But go for it if you want.

And yes as said you will need a crf style pipe to suit klx style head if you get the z155 or yx 150-160 engines

The daytona are still crf style.

I reckon one of these would be the go in a 10" chassis . would be fairly reliable and make good all around power.

ive ridden my mates thumpstar and that thing has a lifan 140 in it and its farken crazy on 10 inch wheels you click it into 3rd and front wheel just pulls off the ground

a 155z in my opinon would almost be stupid

not sure about reliablility, but they go good, would especially in a crf50 frame. might want to buy a few extra back guards since you may hav to replace a few
