Hi there, I'm researching the Australian pit bike scene and love this site. Wanna help me out? Is anything missing in the range of pit bikes available? There's loads of bikes from China - starting at $50 on EBAY. Is the quality any good? Are you getting good service? Do people still wanna buy bikes in shops anymore? What else do you want? events? gear? tips? tell me all. Tx. Newbie Chick

Most members here would be after a balance between quality and price. Most of us don't have that much to spend. It wouldn't worry me where I bought the bike from, probably feel safer buying it from a shop sa you could see the bikes in person.

Seems that once we get our bikes we want to modify them by buying performance parts, upgrading suspension, engine etc. There is probably an equally large market selling these parts to that of just selling the bikes. We all spend a bit each month getting new bits :D

Need more legal places to ride (especially those of us in the city / suburbs)

definitely need more places to ride in NSW, there are no Legal places in the Newcastle area for pitbikes.
We have a couple of good resources for bikes and parts that are not ebay based. The sponsors of this site for example. MSO, you guys rock. What I think most riders want is a competitive price for a quality product with a good after market parts supply. Also what I think is most important, After Sales Service.
I don't mind spending a little more for a bike when I also get great advice, and back up service.

i got my mso a couple of days a go and its going great starts first kick and frame is very strong very good bike best thing ive ever bought :)
