Hope somebody can help me here. Currently my bike is not with me and i need to know how many links to get removed from my new bike chain so that it will fit my bike. Hopefully someone on here has the same bike as me and can inform me so i can get the necessary links removed so when i go away tonight i will have a chain that will fit my bike.

Cheers

hi mate, if you have an angle grinder and a nail at home you can shorten it your self. just grind the head of the last pin you dont need and tap it out with the nail.

no angle grinder unfortunately, i might just have to lash out for a chain breaker, seems like a bit of a waste of monry though.

buy the chain breaker, they last forever and always come in handy
