Just got an atomik 110 Raider quad for my daughter for xmas. Put it together last night to find no back brake caliper pads. To add to the drama I cant get the front brakes working either. Atomik arent answering the phone or emails so if anyone out there has had experience with these suckers or knows where you can locate a different brand brake pad that fits the atomik it would be great.

Going to have another crack at the front brakes again but if someone has had experience with them and could tell me if I might be missing some parts or just not assembling them right it would be good. Thanks in advance.

where abouts you located? what exactly isn't working with front brakes. ie no pressure when you put the brake on, or is it just not moving etc?

Ok went for a drive and found some shops that imported similar bikes. Took my back brake assembly with me to see if I can get lucky to find another bike with the same pads. I did locate some back brake pads that fitted mine and got out of that drama for $25.

Also found out that alot of these imported quads have had the brake pads taken out of the bikes by customs due to the fact that they contain asbestos in them. I'm assuming that is what has happened to mine, hence the reason my brakes where loose in the box when opened but no pads lying on the bottom of the box.

Im also presuming that they have taken away half of my front brakes for the same reason as all I have left is a plate where the brake cable mounts onto but nothing on the other side of it.

At least my daughter can ride it with back breaks tomorrow (xmas day) and have some fun.

I ordered my bike from ebay directly through atomik, havnt been able to confirm if this is the deal or not, but people buying them online might wanna find out before getting one.

so youve only got half the front brake on the front??? or have you got the full assembly. cos if you have the whole lot it may be worth a try to bleed your brakes and see what happens then

From what i can see im missing the shoes for the front brakes.
