AtomikProX didnt impress. Pitpro any better?

Tested out a ProX down at atomik the other day, the thing was absolutely gutless. one of the guys assembling bikes had just fitted a much smaller front sprocket but it was hardly a wheelie machine.

Im familiar with honda posty bikes, and they are weapons ;) this bike had nothing on a posty.

should any thumpstar style 110-125 be as fast or faster than a posty?

in its defence it was hard to start, didnt wanna idle, was back firing thru the air cleaner and the guy there says it might have been running lean. did i just ride a lemon or is that on par for an Atomik ProX?

a mate also threw his leg over it and says it was gutless compared to a mojo 125cc he had ridden in the past.

is a pit pro going to be any better?

Im in Melbourne, south east suburbs.

I went down to Atomik's warehouse in springvale

dunno if they are better personally but many people on this forum have said they are my pitpro goes hard monos quite easily and is great fun to ride maybe you should look into a pitpro as i reckon you would like it.

dunno how a posty goes but they go pretty hard and their heaps of fun riding and modding

if it can pull a decent wheelie while im riding around a campsite pissed as a fart after a day riding the KTM, then i'll love it :)

makes me wonder what was wrong with the atomik i rode... unless the lifan really is that much better than the ducar?

we have a pro x and a ax pro, both go well and we think they both have a fair amount of stick, we got ours from atomik im melb so im guessing u saw a lemon. only prob we ever had with either bike is them drinking lock tite and the rear tubes, and a fence jumping out infront of the ax pro

ive got a PROX by oiron and it goes sweet at its on the back wheel all through first gear.
maybe you just got a lemon cause mine is great i ride with my mate on his crf70 and abouslte smash him

Lifan ***** on ducar in my opinion and yeah if laughs were money it'd pay for itself on ya first camping trip.:D

hmmmm interesting... might even test out another atomik... but if lifan engines are better, ill go the pitpro outlaw

are the screws on the top of the pitpro forks for adjusting rebound & compression like on the atomik? they look like bleed screws

ducar engines are 1 of the worst models on the market today.

the screws on the pitpro are just bleed screws thats it

fair enough... i guess i could shim the front springs if its too soft. the rear shock has preload adjusting... but would there be rebound or compression as well?
