Thats great everything was worked out for a second Round, as the series was in Jeopardy after the last Round at Warrnambool.

Anyone from Vic Metro area interested in going, we should get together and go up as a team, I have a massive enclosed trailer that I used to cart my boat around in that could easily fit 8 bikes plus gear inside, but would need someone with a biggish car to tow it.
Anyone interested in doing this?

ill see how i go. the drive is just putting me off. thats a long way. i drove to byron last year and that is as far up as i could bear so OLD will test my patients.

did you ride on sunday?

I will be going up... But not racing, it's a 2 1/2 hr drive from brissy...

I'm staying in a motel for the 2-3 days...

Not sure if we will be going but at $100 entry and $80 licence fees if they are required it would be an expensive two days.
Does anyone know if the supplementary regulations are available? It would be good to know what they are.

Tina

Where is the track - address? Goggle maps links etc?? What rules are there in regards to motor size etc?

Thats why I was asking about sup regs londin, so many questions
do we need one way valves on tank breathers like they have at gladstone?
catch cans?
licence?
noise restrictions?
whats the race format, how many heats, when?

Catch can's on both carb and crank case breathers
Day licence for $44 which covers the whole event
Noise limit to 94dB measured at WOT from 5m away
Open Practice Friday Morning, Offical Practice Friday midday/afternoon, Heat 1 Friday afternoon
Practice and Heat 2 Sat morning, heat 3 middayish, Final Saturday Afternoon.
Open practice if they allow it after.
Peg sliders or alloy pegs, bark busters or bar ends and throttle ends plugged.
Levers to be blunt or rounded ends.
Oil filler and drain plug to be lock wired (this wasn't checked or bother with at Warrnambool)
Throttle must snap shut when released.
Wheel and head stem bearing to be tight with minimal play.
160cc max for seniors, NOS and fuel enhancers not allowed and the top 4 placed bikes will be impounded and have the heads taken off to check for correct sizes, at riders expence.
If you hit the deck even on the grass your bike will need to be re-scrutineered.
there is a booklet floating around that has all of this on it.

Dave i think you might need the front brake bolts lock wire as well. the bike im getting comes from OLD and has this done to it. but im not completely sure.

so i guess if you plan on winning maybe bring along another piston kit and do a rebuild while there at it. haha

I have heard this floating around but it wasn't necessary at Warrnabool, I just hope that things don't change as than can be annoying.
But I will be getting a lock wire tool, so if I need to it would only take another minute to do up there.
I saw one for the first time the other day and it is a seriously cool tool. just put the wires around waht you want and just pull on the tool and ti creates a perfect spiral of wire everytime and looks cool too!

Couldnt make it to VIC round due to broken arm, but About 6 riders from Wollongong Going to QLD round including me!

Should be fun, looking forward to taking home some trophies!
