can anyone on here backflip their 50? and if you got pics can you post pics of the jumps you did it on?

i have built a dirt jump in my back yard and flipping is what I am aiming for. just need some confidence that the jump will be big enough.

cheers

westy

just lean back & hold your balls, & its best to have the flip down on a BMX in a pit or water first..

even if you practice doing normal flips on the tramp it will help

its actually easyier to flip a 50 than it is to flip a BMX. the 50 basicaly flips it self once you pull back, just a lot more dangerous if you stuff up

yeh i have backfliped pushys into foam pits and rivers. can backflip off ledges into water, but cant for the life of me backflip on a tramp. im pretty comfortable wit the jump size, i`ll make it happen. broken bones and all.

half way between perth and kalgoorlie. Come over for a ride anythime. haha. I was in brisvegas on the weekend, and towoomba. towoomba looks like moto heaven.

i can flip a pushy , always thought about a 50 but i would want to do it into a foam pit first .

it's pretty scaryto do backies for the first time on a pitty I think, iv only done it into q foam pit, but there fun as hell!!!! yea make sure there's video....

goodluck n dnt stuff up

dont go busting yourself just to land a backflip mate, it's not as easy as the video's make it out to be. throw up a pic of this jump your planing on flipping.

will get a pic tonight.
backflipping is not the height of, neither will it be then end of my moto experience. I have ridden bmx park/dirt, raced dowhill mtb, raced MX and arena cross, even dabbled in FMX. If I go out to backflip it will be with educated experience, not just a redneck with a belly full of jim beam. I know my limits, physical and mental, and over the nearly 20yrs I have been on two wheels, its always when the mental side isnt working properly that you hurt yourself.

I reckon that getting upside down is a massive mental hurdle, more than phyiscal, more than bike capacity. dont get me wrong, I imagine there to be a significant amout of skill involved. you gotta commit 100%, weather its flipping, cornering 4th gear on the wood or jumping 100+ feet. if your not commited, expect to hurt yourself.

hey mate just my two cents,we built a pitty ramp into a pit a while back and lernt on the pushys first took about 5-10 goes to get them nailed and was really hard to get full rotation on our ramp but on a crf50 it was way way easier, first time every time
