Hello people ,
Right i have an rx 125 brand new only 2 months old, i havnt even been on the road with it yet it was just sitting in my garage doing nothing.
Every now and then i would go outside and turn the ignition on and kickstart it just to hear the sound of it , Silly i know! haha.
I bought a helmet and gear and can now ride my bike.
WOOO i put on my helmet get on and go to kickstart it , nothing happens engine doesnt start , so i start becoming impatient and kick it a few times still nothing . now im not 100% about flooded engines but now petrol is coming out of some black cables pointing south from my kickstand. i turn the gas to off immediatly.
i leave for a few hours go back and turn the gas on woot there is no petrol coming out of the cables, but now it sais my battery is low !!! so we buy a battery charger ! me being very very impatient plug it up 2 minutes and it sais my batery is charges im like wtf! i read the manual right on the last page it sais.
"DUNNOT CHARGE BATTERY LESS THAN 20AH WITH THIS CHARGER" oh gr8 my battery is only 4AH. I ring my dealer and ask the problem we talk about going to get bike charger tomorow but him also saying u dont need full battery to start the engine so it still shouldnt be a problem , he also sais that it wont be start because its been idle with dead petrol but because i kickstarted it yesterday it should pump fresh petrol throough.
I then run downstairs turn on ignition the battery symbol has gone! woo so i get on and try to kickstart again , first time i kicked it it made a noise like it was going to start but after that nothing back to square one!

Sorry about the hugee story life! haha
Anyone who can help me ? would be gr8

thanks alot james carden.

o.k...........you went on a bit....but the more information the better.

At any time when fuel comes out the "overflow" lines, it means that there is too much fuel in the carby, this is a normal feature designed not to flood your engine..

It also means that the needle and seat may have dirt or plastic holding it open, either way a "Float level" inspection / adjustment may be required, but could be simply fixed by tapping the carby with a small hammer.....i said tapping...o.k?

Now...........to get your bike started, stand it up right and turn the fuel on.
Look and make sure no fuel is leaking from the overflow lines.
If it is, then consult your local mecahinc, if you have tried tapping it and it didnt work.

if o.k then i suggest that you remove the spark plug and then clean it, then wipe it down with a dry rag.
refit it and then try starting the bike.
