blew up my bike

ok then i have no bike to ride anymore.

what happened was i was ridin and then all of a sudden i heard a crack from the engine and the engine cut out. and then i tried to kick it over but the kick starter you can only get down about 2cm then it gets jammed on something. i have drained the oil out and there are metal shavings in it so i reckon something has broken.

do any of you have any idea what it could be. im not even gunna bother fixing it but i would just like to see what happened.

They are a Farm bike so iam not suprised it broke lol!!!

is there any movment in the piston if not it say youve seized it but hey im no mechanic lol, where you running the right mixture? or if its oil injected is there any oil in the tank lol? depending waht damge it may have done to the bore you may just need a new top end and just do a dodge sand on the bore which me and my mate did to his xj go kart lol. Well at least you may be able to get a mini lol.

yep sounds to me like your piston cracked IE skirt fell off pull the head off & have a look..... it's like 4 bolts

pity you dont live in vic, i got a dt175 motor with a brand new top end but the gearbox is missing 3rd that i got given to me for helping a mate with his bike, coulda done a deal

doesnt sound to good.. years ago i had a honda xl185 and the head of the exhaust valve blew off smashed off the end of the spark plug and jammed in the piston
