Hi guys just bought a 2009 blitz . Same old story , wont rev past 3/4 throttle . I've read the posts about making the airbox holes bigger , and changing the jet to a #100 . Just wondering , doe's anyone know where to buy the jet kits from . I rang atomik and they cant help me . So if anyone has any addresses or emails to someone who stocks them , it would be greatly appreciated .

Try and get some details on what type of carby it is , and why type jets it takes.

Thanks guys , carby i think is a copy of a 28mm mikuni with a #132 size jet .

heh heh, Thump has just found the next victim....

Pete, welcome to MR, and welcome to the joys of your new engineering project... :D

best thing to do with the stock pumper on the Blitz, is set fire to it.... if money is a problem, then go to a #95 main jet... yes, #95 main sounds small, but trust me.. i've played with Blitzes a "little bit"....

Failing that, or if you wanna see just what can be done, boil the kettle, get the missus to bring your dinner, pipe and slippers, settle down into the computer chair, and read the following link... it's long, but will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about owning a Blitz, and getting the most out of it...
