So, I just ordered my SSR SR125-TR Pit Bike from T Bolt USA on Friday. Vince was a great help and I cant thank him enough for dealing with me and all my questions. (Lol) I'm just waiting for it to come in, needless to say it's gonna be a harddddd wait for me. I'm so anxious already I dunno what I'm going to do until it comes. But all and all just wanted to say thanks again to Vince from T Bolt and that I appreciate all his help and for dealing with me and my questions. First Pit Bike I've bought and I sure hope Ill be happy with it, which I'm sure I will be, look forward to learning more and upgrading it along the way as well. I can't wait to get more into this sport, looks like It's gonna be my new top hobby!!!! Although Ive been thinking about getting one for over like 8 months now, finally decided to pull the trigger and make my first purchase. I will take some pics, and post them as soon as I get it, and get it put together. I cant wait to get this bike and get it uncrated and all set up and ready to go. Seems like its going to be a money pit though considering I'm already trying to figure out some upgrades that will fit on it, so anyone feel free to jump in with suggestions and let me know what you think!!! It should be a decent change from riding my street-bike, and stunt riding to pit bikes and eventually start racing!!!

Also anyone who has the bike already, do you know who makes the engines in these, like make and model I guess? And have you guys found any aftermarket exhaust for it, and what type of aftermarket air filter would you suggest?

Thanks for any and all help.

Again, BIG Thanks to Vince from T Bolt as well - Definitely recommend you go through T Bolt for all Pit Bike needs!!!!!

Can't really help you on the engine question but as for the air filter your best way to go is a Uni foam air filter like this one>>Uni Filter 1" Foam Angle Pod Air Filter - Pit Bike Engine Parts - Air Filters - UNI-UP4112AST - TBolt USA, LLC But when you purchase it make sure you know the diameter for the air filter. The one I showed you was a 1 inch diameter. Tbolt states that the TR runs a 22m mikuni carb so I would go for the 38mm air filter aka 1.5inch diameter>>>Uni Filter 1.5" Foam Angle Pod Air Filter - Pit Bike Engine Parts - Air Filters - UNI-UP4152AST - TBolt USA, LLC I envy you now that you have that bike :flipa: lol but it seems like its a good bike from what I heard. If you got any questions feel free to ask me and Ill try to lead you in the right path.:scooter:

Ya I was just doing some research I went into T Bolts tech data and found the 22mm carbs run a 1.5" or 38mm air filter, but thanks for the help I appreciate it!! And ya the only one I would get is the Uni filter, most likely as Ive heard a lot of good things about it as well, seems like most people run those on there bikes so Im probably gonna get one may wait until i upgrade my carb and find an exhaust for the bike as Im not sure if they make one for it yet. But either way Im super pumped to get my bike I cant wait its so hard I ordered it Friday and its been a rough couple days so far!!! And ya I was going to get the SSR SR125 regular bike, but then I was advised to spend the extra money and get the TR model so I did needless to say I think I made a good choice but thanks makes me feel good spending the extra money cause someone envy's me now LOL! What kind of bike do you ride?? And If I come across anymore questions Ill be sure to ask considering Ive been looking around the internet for 2 days trying to see what kind of upgrades I should purchase in a couple months or so, (been looking for a billet dress up kit, and some colored rims for my bike to cant seem to find them though like excel rims for regular bikes) so any suggestions or ideas please let me know it'd be a great help!!!!! Thanks man Ill be sure to post some pics when I get the bike and get it set up, but feel free to show me our bike as well, love seeing different bikes and how people set them up

Im still rebuilding it which is why there are no grips and the clutch is not installed yet just the lever. But this is what I did, I search this site for performance mods and found this>>>http://www.miniriders.com/bike-setup/24009-performance-upgrades-guidelines-stage-i-iii.html It tells you the best upgrades for your bike. My bike has

ProTaper Bars
22mm Mikuni Carb
Uni Air filter
17t front sprocket 37 rear
Unbreakable pivot levers
NGK Spark Plug
Cnc Fuel filter(not installed in that pic)
1/4 quick turn thorttle
Racing CDI (to me it doesnt make a difference than the stock)

But read that link for your upgrades. The good things about that list is that more than half the stuff are really inexpensive!

Its great to see that the skills and knowledge of good ole thump140 are still being regulary used for those seeking help with there bikes. gone but never forgotten. ride on thumper

Just wanted to let you know that our SR150TX adjustable forks are a great add on for the TR along with the Taller bar setup. You will need to get a longer front brake line to handle the bars. The engine is LIFAN. If you get a chance contact Vince at Tbolt. Vince has done this upgrade and a few others.
