Brand new lifan 125cc help :)

Hey again
got a problem, if I turn my throttle half it's okay but when I go all the way it loses all power and just bogs down.
I havnt riden the engine yet so wondering if this is the valves and wondering what they should be at because I havnt adjusted them yet,
and a proper guide to running in a new engine

Could be the valves or a jetting issue. What carby you running with what jet settings?

As for a proper guide to running in a motor. Everyone has different theories and opinons. Personally I would just ride the thing realtivly hard (without revving the guts off it and valve bouncing it) for say 5 hours so the rings bed in nicely. Done this with a few bikes and never had a problem.

Thanks DVD motorman. Will do my valves later tonight have to borrow some feeler gauges I'll let yas no if it's any better
