Hey guys , i wanna put a breather kit on my pp138 but i need to know sum stuff first...

* Is it worth doing?
* Do i need to adjust the carby if i do go ahead with it?
* How do i put a breather kit on my motor???? the place where it goes is weird and not like other bikes??

I have a valve breather on my bike
its worth doing to help it breathe
no you dont have to adjust the carby
to put it on ur motor you simply take of the stock valve cover and replace with the new breathing cover then run the breather line straight down the frame as shown below:

hey fiddy_110 where did u get that breather cap, thats what i need, i was thinking about dilling into my old one and then connecting a brass compressor attachment???
 
u can put a breather kit on a fiddy... dosent matter what modds you have!... i dont realy see a point in doing it... fiddy 110 whats in the background?
 
yes u can put on a not oilcooled bike aswell, i would think buying a complete one would be more affective and efficient than the brass compressor attachment, i will sell kits to anyone at $40 delivered

fiddy 110 are you a whole saler for products or something mate??

i do aggree with everyone so far, you can put them on anything you like, you can get complete kits but provided you were to seal your home job effectivly and didnt have any internal overlap from your cap and compressor attachment it would be fine.

ive have done this mod to mi 125 (lifan) and you wouldnt belive the amount of pressure it alows out in down low revs. it makes it rev alot easier. i have run the valve cover tube and the original one on the back of the engine to an aluminum tube wich is mounted under the seat (as shown in the second pik). i reckon if u have the chance to do this mod, i would do it

ill have 2 disagree wif u on that 1 my freind, i have a breather on my 110,

i hooked my boost gauge up and it realease about 1-2 PSI from the head which is not much and doesnt do much for performance.

my breather cap screws into the tappet cover port.

the 138 heads may be bigger i imagine? means even less psi to loose?

upside = looks bling.
 
i imagine it wouldnt but does the line just hang from the clutch lever all the time or is it just for the pic
 
dabomb i just wanted to know why you have your oil cooler mounted on the front like that??

no the head breather doesnt just hang from their all the time, for picture purposes i would say and divy i would say its mounted their because its got most air flow from their and heck, looks pretty good in my opinion, no one uses their number plate anyway so why not rip the bugger off :D. that and i recall when Dabomb purchased the oil cooler it was too big to sit in the traditional section so yeah. hope this clears that up for ya.

dabomb i just wanted to know why you have your oil cooler mounted on the front like that??

basicly the sheer size of the unit it wont fit under the fuel tank and the forks hit aswell when turning.

jamie__1221 i got it on the hangers for the pic i dont ride round wif it hangin out.
 
DA Bomb where did you buy that breather kit from it looks trick, being seraching and only found 1 supplied by DHZ and that doesn't look good
