Hey guys,
Just wondering if there is an easy way to build a dirt ramp.
Preferably a take of ramp and a landing ramp.
I dont want to hire bobcats or anything like that.
I guess I will just have to get some mates together and start diggin some dirt up

Cheers, Mitch

yeah you'll need dirt(duh), if you don't want a bobcat get the shovles out, i read in FRMX that its best to build the down ramp first rather then the up ramp but there isn't a really easy way unless you get a bobcat.

well i wouldn't have a clue on how you could find it because i've read alot of FRMX mags but i found some thing little on down ramps in issue #45

Down Ramps

for a smooth landing, the down ramp must be suitable for your up ramp. A downie for an aussie comp ramp should be four meters high, five meters wide, two meters of safty deck and about 10 meters long.

but

it would be easyer to build a table top instead of two different dirt hits.

if you look at a propley built downramp or a portable downramp they'll have a flat bit on the top of the downramp thats the safty deck. (i think)

im in the process of hand building my own mini mx track nothing too flash a couple of decnt tabletops and some lil jump stuter thinsga and some berms....yes its goig to take a while but its worth it......... basically start digging now

Try and find somewhere where there a small hill... that way half the work is done!
