Hello.
A bud gave me a Buyang 110cc "dirt bike".
It has the Loncin 107cc engine.
I have a slew of problems with this bike and could use some help.

1.Most annoying thing is the slipping kickstart. Sometimes it will catch, other times it feels like it's slipping and will not turn over the engine. You can feel there is pressure on it but the engine does not cycle. If you kick any harder than a SLOW push it will slip.
2. It has electric start but blows the fuse as soon as it's put in the holder.
>>>>>I bypassed the ignition switch because the key was lost. there were 4 wires
red, green, black and black. I tied the two black wires together and got spark. If I connect the red and green it will instantly pop the fuse. I don't know if the red/green are to be attached together or if they should be connected to another wire.
If I disconnect the red, green it does not blow the fuse but still wont crank the starter over.

3. I can't seem to bump start the bike...I have only tried it in 1st (maybe need a higher gear?) and it just locks up the tire ..

I did get it running (got lucky and the kickstart caught). and it has some other issues (pops and runs rough) but I would like to take care of the other problems before I deal with performance issues.
Thanks in advance for the help
*edit..when I drove it the clutch did not feel like it was slipping (felt good).

The kickstart issue is clutch related, the kicker drives thru the clutch, either needs adjustment or replacement. As for the electric start, i wouldn't bother with it, they're next to useless when new on a chinese engine. As for the rough running, i'd pull the carb and give it a good clean out(make sure the jets are clear) and make sure there are no air leaks between the carb, manifold, engine when you put the carb back on.

yep either worn clutch or simply a cable/case mechanism adjustment required.

as for the ignition switch, simply unplug it.. it shouldnt need any hot wiring..

If cable moves freely;

Loosen clutch cable adjuster(s).
Remove cover 3
Loosen jamb-nut 25
Screw adjuster 12 in until you feel pressure, back off 1/8 turn
Snug jamb-nut w/o screw turning
Readjust cable.

Yea, it was the jam nut adjustment under the cover.
Was way out of spec.
Kicks right over now.
Looks like I need ot do a nut & bolt job on this bike.
Everything is either loose or missing.
Float bowl vent is leaking bad...I pulled the carb and the needle and seat looks clean as a whistle. Float was level too. Not sure what to do aside from running the vent tube higher than the carb.(I know that's not the best idea).

Thanks for the help guys.
