cam advance?

has anybody heard of advancing the stock cam on a crf50?

the only thing you could advance is the timing not the cam. plus the stock cam is weak. just get your 1 re grinded. easy way to get more power, & maybe a High comp piston

wont re-grinding the stock cam take away metal , reducing the amount of overall lift on the valves? thus reducing power output....

no... it's called re grind cos they weld it up the re-grind a new lift profile
