hey guys just wondering how do i clean camel packs??

and can i still drink if mould gets in it??

i wouldnt, but i think you just have to wash it like you would a drink bottle, put some water in swish it round and dry it up

yes u need to wash it if you use anythink other than water ,even then a good rinse is always a good idea ,id use bicarb of soda to get your mold out
use hot water not boiling and put bicarb in first then add hot water .Swish arround and rinse well ,may need a few goes

when eva you store it leave cap off so it can breath ,if you get a horrid taste in it like rubber taste ,use salt and vinegar to flush out a few times should get rid of the rubber taste

there is algae in the tanks that store it before it comes out of your tap so why not. just put warm water in it and swoosh it around a bit and then tip it out. but never put cordial in them other wise the water will taste like that cordial forever and it's a bitch to get out

hot water kills bacteria, so does washing detergent... add them together and you have a bacteria killing machine

The stuff that you clean babys bottles with gets rid of the alge. But drinking from a bottle that has green stuff growing in it wont hurt you. If you could see the inside of your pipes and the storage tanks you would never drink anyting from a tap.

My camel pack has never been cleaned. All you have to do is drain them and let them dry after use. My pack is over 10 year old and still on the original bladder
