Heyyy,
I am just about to buy my first bike as I alway ride my cousins 140cc pitpro and I think it is about time to buy my own! I was going to buy the same thing from east 50's, what is the best model to get? (sorry if it's a stupid question only new!)
cheers :)

All depends on you mate, what size are you after, a midsize, or mini, or you could get something bigger again like the bigfoot, what type of riding are you doing, whats your budget, whats your skill level, what mods do you want/not want to do in the future.

A little bit more info is always helpful when if comes to help, the more info you give us the more info we can give you.

Yeaa i'm about 170-180cm and was more interested in the midsize bikes, i'm not really that great soo not doing jumps or anything like that just hooning around wheelies and all that just having a bit of fun I guess but hopefully one day I'll be able to do jumps nd all but ATM I have got a budget of about 1500 and maybe later just mod it to look aweskme nothing special really.

I say save the extra $500 and buy a RevMX... It'll be perfect to start out on and you can jump it when you get more confident ;)

Otherwise, you might get a better deal looking at second hand bikes... Or go half way and buy one of these.

Atomik nitrous is the same bike pretty much. You pay for an engine with them and get a free bike. $800 on the bike incl postage that leaves $700 for upgrades and maintince money:
- 140cc; NEW ATOMIK NITROUS 140CC PIT TRAIL MOTOR DIRT BIKE - eBay, Trail Bikes, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 20-Jul-10 19:30:35 AEST)
- 150cc; NEW ATOMIK NITROUS 150CC PIT TRAIL MOTOR DIRT BIKE - eBay, Trail Bikes, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 20-Jul-10 19:45:04 AEST)
- 160cc; NEW ATOMIK NITROUS 160CC PIT TRAIL MOTOR DIRT BIKE - eBay, Trail Bikes, Motorcycles, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 20-Jul-10 20:15:17 AEST)

They're great cheap bikes to start on and they'll last if you keep the maintince up on them. Regular oil change, air fillter clean, check bolts. That's all you really need to do with them bikes.

Can u do little table tops with the atomik nitous jumps only like 1 or so metre high

This is the case with the older Dpro, but the new Outlaw comes stock with a Z160HO running a Daytona HD 6 plate clutch, a Mikuni 30mm carb and GPX suspension front and back all mounted into a CRF70 style frame.

But if it doesn't seem like your thing or you feel like saving some money, then the Nitrous is a good option :)

thanks guys for all the help!
i guess i will keep you updated on my first bike! (and maybe you can help me with any other queries)
cheers fellas

id go with the new dhz 160R, whilst still being pretty basic and reasonably cheap it comes with the better suspension so you as a rider can grow into the bike. and not to mention its a new model on the market..CRF70 style.

but by all means if ya wanna cut costs and just buy a bush basher then go a nitrous but i think youll find yourself wanting to upgrade the suspension in the close future because it just doesnt cut it..
