Hi guys just a few more questions on engines, frames, suspension and wiring looms.
1.Iv been researching and have found that ebay stocks many 125cc parts, such as exhausts, bashplates, kik starters and gear shifters, but not many of these parts 4 140cc bikes. Just wonderin if these sort of parts are universal???
2. Im lookin at the 140cc Lifan oil cooled engine, would ^^^^ these be able to fit that engine???
3. Should I go for an oil-cooled or not, cause on ebay 140cc Lifans are sometimes sold with and sometimes without an oil cooler.
4. What frame should i be lookin for, cause ther are all types, could somebody plz tell me a nice sturdy frame. Cause u guyz have told me around the $100 mark, but wouldnt Maylands Performance sell a $150 CROMO PIT BIKE FRAME - TWIN TUBE WITH CRADLE. <<< is this a good frame, could som1 plz post a pic. ther is also an insane lookin frame the "KLX BBR style frame"
eBay Australia: KLX BBR style frame thumpstar type dirtbike 125 140 (item 330128284961, end time 11-Jun-07 16:44:17 AEST)
sold on ebay...would this b good?? how much do they usualy "buy-it-now" 4??
5. Also, would the lifan engine fit on these??? Does these frames support the oil cooler???
6. Should i b lookin at a 140cc, as i am a first time rider, 17 and weigh bout 80kg just thinkin that mayb 125cc Lifan would b fine that way i wouldnt have 2 worry about the oil cooler. unless u need an oil cooler for the 125cc engine as well.
7. what wiring loom should i get???? what different parts are ther 2 a loom??? also do all bikes have an electric start, as i have seen videos wher the people just start ther bikes using a button, like a kill switch, but obviously the opposite!!!
8. Last of all im lookin at gettin the 'Fastace ASO2s Shocks' as i have read good things about them. These would also need to fit on the frame!!!
THANX ALOT GUYZ!!!!! I KNOW THIS IS ALOT!!! BUT IM JUST TRYING 2 GET MY PROJECT UNDERWAY!!! AND START MAKING A LIST OF PARTS AND PRICING SO THAT I CAN KNOW WAT 2 RESEARCH AND BUY!!!
ANY INFO THAT U GUYZ CAN GIVE WILL B MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
