central coast ride day 17th october

Junior trials motorcycle club Gwandalan on the nsw central coast invites junior(age 12-16with a motorcycling nsw log book) and all senior(16 and over) fast 50 thumpster pitbike and chinese bike riders too a recreational/practice day on there junior motocross track on sunday the 17th of october 2010. GET OUT OF THE BUSH AND ONTO THE TRACK is a day where all riders will have a full day to ride against their mates and other riders on a fully licensed junior motox/fast 50 race track,licensed to run 20 bikes at a time riders will have exclusive use of the track for the full day,depending on numbers we invision junior and senior groups sent out in wheel size catagories for 20 minute stints for the full day.
The price of $50 per rider includes use of the track for the day recreational licenses and necessary insurances and legal requirments set out as per the motorcycling nsw gcrs.if you already have a nsw race license ride fee is $30 riders who have licenses must present them on the day
A canteen will be operating offering hot food and drinks for the day
the track is a 700 metre junior motorcross track which features tabletops single jumps full berms and is regualarly raced by junior motorcross riders.
bikes will be as the Gcr rulebook,only thumpsters pitbikes etc allowed must be horizontal engine and to a maximum of 160cc no japanese brand name bikes allowed other than the honda 50S ,klx110,ttr90 etc etc no 2 strokes or crf150s
bikes will need to be deemed safe to ride that means must have all brakes working no broken levers etc etc.
riders must also have approved helmet,gloves and full covering as in long pants full shirts and boots.
juniors are 12 to 16 years and can only ride to a maximum 10 or 12 in rear wheel.

Sounds bloody awsome mate. well done on all the effort to get this running.Ill be there for sure. Maybe run catagories similar to the racing idea. wheel size, engine size and rididng capability??

its on the corner of the pacific highway and kanangra drive at gwandalan aprox just over an hour from sydney and about 25mins south of newcastle,from sydney head up the freewAY and take the budgewoi/charlestown/swansea exit just after the twin caltex servos and then about 10mins along the pacific hway turn left onto kanangra drive then immediately right into drive way

yea had a bit of interest from both juniors and seniors and the central coast newspaper is going to run a story on it next week as well as brad russell is going to let all the high roller runners know about it at the mudgee meet next week,so should be a good mix of first timers and exp runners,i am expecting that riders will probably run out of fuel and energy before they run out of track time.if i can get around 50 riders i think i can confidently say it will become a regular event,if we get 2 riders more track time for you and me LOL

unfortunately im gonna say this first one may not go to plan basically due to not enough advertisement, there are heaps of people on the coast and in newcastle that ride pittys but alot of them arent on this forum so you need to get the word out and have flyers everywhere

maybe even do what Brad has done and have a entry form as such so you simply know how many people are going

i honestly think your going to have a whole heap of people turn up to it without contacting you

little bit of a setback in regards to juniors, motorcycling nsw has just informed us that juniors ,thats under 16s ,have to have a MA license to run or a ma log book and can only ride a maximum of 110cc,sorry about that you younger guys planning to come but they make the rules
