chain slides

i went for a 2 and a half hour ride today and before i went i replaced the chain slide i came home n saw it was already down to the screws is there a way to fix this ???
different materials???
anything?

sounds like something isnt right we have gotten 6 months of riding out of some of our guides. where did you get it, whats it made out of, need some more info or pics on this one.
