In Melbourne, You can tell they are undercovers because the letters on the number plate are Red =]

Wow! lol, I thought they might have been somewhat special. When I was working down at the snow, it was normal to see a 911 with a custom ski rack on it, or a BMW M3 pulling people over.
Hell back in 1988 I got pulled over on my pushy at night for riding with no lights by cops in an EXA turbo, Now they looked weird with full police paint and lights.

hes most prob one of the many coppers who search the forums,

how do you think they are finding some of these remote riding places in bush, and busting people,

i knew a cop who used to search out car forum every week, looking for illegal burnout spots for friday nights etc, cause we got busted once, and the cop said he saw it on the forum!!!

more than likely so!!! if so... hi officer PLOD...

Benox.. vic undercovers have 'normal' plates to not just govy(red) ones... and the aerials are now being put inside the car, so that kind of makes that option hard.. rear view mirror will have lights behind it, rear window will have lights, and normally no towbars... If you are in doubt if its a 'real copper' ask for a badge number, and check when possible.. hard to do but hey.

Yeah - unmarked cop cars should be marked - with a can of paint , coin or some other type of sharp object !
