Click, Click...

Okay so there's this little clicking noise... It's coming somewhere from around the front sprocket area (I can't see because of the cover)... This is only when Im warming it up... When I kick it over cold I can't hear it though... Then again it could still be there I just can't hear it over the noise.
Any ideas what it is?
I mean the bike runs good so I don't think it's something major.
But I'd still like an idea of what it is... and if it's baaaaaaad.

PPB, Can you take the front cover off to see if there is anything rubbing!?? it might be as simple as a broken stick or bit of road crap thats worked its way into the pinion sprocket. check your chain for stiff links also.. these cause a click click sound.
Let us know how you go with the problem and how you fixed it.. Pics would also be good to help other members should they be having a similar problem!

Yeah if you pull the kickstarr back while the engine is running it'll click, do that and see if its the same sound.

I think I'll just take the cover off tomorrow after work and look about with no idea at what Im looking at... Should be loads of fun!

if its not affecting the bike ride it let it get hot than turn it off see if the motor makes the ticking noise when cooling down could just be the motor parts expanding u dont usually hear it when the bike is running

it could be by off chance the chain just knocking the cover, i have a larger front sprocket on my 110cc an some times cause of the larger sprocket the chain some times bouces an taps the cover
