Been told Need to replace a clutch in mini quad and also fit a new chain.

Basically have a mini quad that was sat for 2 years, after replacing flywheel, pulley , spark and cleaning the carb, I finally got it to run,

When it first started the wheels started to turn on there own, which result in the chain coming off when I applied throttle.

Been told the clutch must be sticking on, and need a chain as it's on it highest setting but still a tad loose.

Is there a particular kit I need to get for the clutch or are they all the same?

Also the chain how do it tell how many links it needs to be?

Thanks in advance.

What brand of motor?

Are the sprockets worn?, If the chain is in good condition you can just take a couple of links of it (angle grinder) presuming it has a joining link.
Clutch might just need pulling apart and cleaning the plates.

It's just a Chinese quad not sure on model,

Ill have a look whether the chain has a joining link, and I was going to try giving the clutch plates a good clean.

There will be a engine# stamped in the case on the left under gear lever.....1P52FMj for example, It will let you know what brand/size the engine is, have a look and let us know.
