Just a vid from Wednesday onboard the ZX9, unfortunately they wouldn't let me take the mini out this time :( Reckons i was too slow (apparently getting round half the field of riders last time wasn't enough :cursing: ) Anyway, loving the new bike, so much easier to ride than the 750 even being a tourer vs a sports bike + i was lapping 2s quicker without even trying :) Next time i'll give her a bit more I think as i won't be so worried about ****ing over a band spanka set of tyres.

Yeah mate nice vid, man you give it a fair old go. My mate that I work with just picked himself up a 05 zx10r, his bringing to work next week for me to have a ride off. The only other bike I've had a go off is a Suzuki bandit 1200 and that flew. What's the most that you've got out of yours?

One of my mates has a ZX10, umm lets just say it hits the limiter at 172kph in first gear... Wouldn't belive it if i wasn't sitting next to him on my ol 750... Those things are a freakin weapon, quicker than an R1 of the same era, they just don't go round corners as well. Iv'e only had my 9 for about 2 months and in that 2 months only rode it twice as I havn't put rego on it yet. So this was the first time I actually got to ride it, i was only hitting 187 down the straight (via GPS), but it is such a comfortable bike to ride, stoked on my purchase, especially as i picked it up for $1800 and it's only got 16,000k's on it. Right place - right time me thinks :)

Holy crap $1800 right time right place alright that's a bargain and a half. My mates still only on his p's and is trying to resist the urge to take it out all the time his had a couple if quick runs on it and says that it's scary as hell I can't wait to have a quick run on the highway with it myself.
Thanks for sharing bud.

Scary as hell is an understatement, I would highly reccomend a steering dampner on these things, mate found his nearly un-rideable without, although you might say he's a bit of a hoon... Unlike me :p

^^ agreed, and that's you taking it easy ??
far out, it made the other riders look like it was their first time on a bike.
well done timeeh !

^Cheers fellas, I was in the novice class as it was also my sisters first track day and she wanted me in the same group as her, probly should of been up a level as it was my 3rd time at the track :) I'll have footage of her riding put up a bit later, she did bloody well for her first track day, out rode quite a few other riders, all blokes too :)

As for how does it feel from coming off the pity? It's like being moved from cattle class to first class on a plane :) Finally something that i fit on LOL

Well, i really would have loved to see the 184 smoke them down the straight, there rules suck lol.

You got some good style bro, quite smooth i must say, and yeah a dampner will help heaps, kinda like walking with no ligaments in ya ankle lol.

Good stuff mate, ive only ever ridden a cbr250rr and that was out of my comfort zone, loved hitting 20,000rpm down the straight but the cornering and balance of the bike was strange, ill leave that stuff to you ghostrider peeps. Top stuff timmeehfee.
