CR 80 forks

Who has done it and how do I do it? What year forks? What is the triple mod needed? Wheel, axle etc? All I hear around is you have to cut 2 inches out of them and mod the triple tree.

Pretty sure use there tripple, usd fork and get the inner tube modified to match the pitbike frame

Yep I know about using the cr triple and cutting the forks down 2 inches, but what is the mod that has to be done to the triple? I might ask the boys on the UK forum, they seem to mod way more than us. One guy has a klx modded to a linkage!

Thats for the kx 65 forks on a klx 110.. maybe you need longer ones?

The beauty is if you know some one with a lathe and someone with a kx 80 headstem sitting around they could measure maybe all it needs is to be cut or turned a little to allow for the bearings?

a roughy one was posted up last week, a '92 model no motor for $300

I found out how to mod the forks, easy as to do. 92 has conventional forks, although that could be cool too
