hey, i just installed a kamakazi 88 kit and i was riding it for about half an hour to an hour, the next day i started it up and it was making a crackling noise in the top end, it still runs cause me and some mates rid it for bout 2 hours tha next day, im just worried that somethin bad could happen if i ride it too much, could someone tell me wat could be wrong?

Have you taking the head off again??

It might be hiting the valves? Don't ride it if your unsure about it.

sounds like what my bike was doing last week don't ride it
valves hitting
i started it just before it went to the shop and it was crackling bad too

I ajusted the valves an hour ago did nothin but i might do that if theres no other options its just that taking the head off is a bitch, do u recon it could be pre egnition?

there is no way to stop them hitting unless you have the cam timing out...
when you set the rockers just now did you notice if there was excessive clearance on any of the valves..

double check cam timing.
does it crackle when revving in neutral?..

exhaust was .007 and intake was .005 now it is .003 and it crackles in all gears including neutral but it stops crackling after i rid it for a while

im gonna check the valve timing and egnition timing asap hopefuly tomorow

might be time to upload a video of the noise mate....

sometimes a bash plate can make some weird noises

check out that your 4 head bolts are done up rite i had the same pob ;);)

Thank you so much rmr50s after all that it was the head bolts not done up tight enough, thanks everyone for your in put :) :)
