Up in the snow-blown scandinavia.
So the last of the snow has almost melted her in cold norway and I'm kind of toying with the idea of replacing my 'ol faithful Loncin again.
I'm considering giving it to my 12 yo nephew so he has a bike of his own to ride on (his parents refuse to buy him a bike, they suck), I've been looking around for a new bike for my self and found that a slightly used CRF\XR 100 are cheaper then most decent Chinas, but I know nothing about these bikes, I don't want a overweight pitbike, and how does the power compare to a well-setup 125 lifan for example? I don't want a CRF50\70 because I'm a tall guy (2 meter) so I got no room to move on a 50.
I feel a home on the loncin and I want something that feels similar in size and are just as easy to handle, Am I looking at the wrong bike?

I found this cool Vid on youtube, this is what made me look at the CRFs:

get a 150ccyx engine pit bike, 16hp will pull you througneasily to n xr100

no one was telling you to buy an engine. buy yourself a atomik nitrous for excample for $800-$900 you get your self a brand new engine and bike that will **** over a crf100

the problem is that decent pitbikes are almost non-existing here, some of the bikes you guys ride have names I've never heard of, pitpro is the only name I recognize and they cost about 3 times a crf100 here, dealerships here only sell the low-end type bikes, occasionaly a lifan-powered bike pops up but it's rare...

xr100 is a cute little bike ..... its not a pitbike !!.I f you get a decent one , there are plenty of things you can do on that thing...look on the yoshimura site for starters!!...planetminis.com;)
But if it should be a pitbike...I am with the others....don´t bother ...get a new midsize with 15occm....maybe from sweden...not so far:rolleyes:

why dony you order a bike from overseas . america/australia... with a lifan powered engine

I checked with som of your aussie dealers but none of them would ship overseas.
and there are plenty of bikes on the Ebay but the shipping alone is about the same as the value of the bike, and if the bike gets slapped with import-taxes I'm screwed... gotta move to another country...
