I want to do a front/rear suspension upgrade for my very talented 7 y.o. son's crf50. On a limited budget, what's the best way to go about it?

+1 Fork Legs up front with possible some new springs and an Elka/Fox Float/Ishock rear is a good starter.

There aren't many ways to do it really cheaply though. Buy from the US at the moment as you will get a good deal with the aussie dollar being so good.

Is he bottoming the suspension out on it ?

the stiff springs in my experiance , are stiff! and designed for adults .

a hole new rear shock is a good investement as they allow abit more travel compared to the stock crf shock which is always good.

i have found the cheaper a-style fastace shocks work good for the money.

and up front probably +1 legs and a few spacers on top of the springs.
