Hey
I was looking at crf50's but i have some question's

how fast can you get them going with mod's?
what are some good sites for pictures of modded ones?

Here's a guide:

Top speed ( Approx only!)

Stock top speed = 45km/h
Stock HP = 2.5hp

Limmited 88cc (Carb incl) = 70-75km/h
limmited HP = 6-8hp ( kit depending)

88cc big valve head (stroker kit) = 80-85km/h
88cc big valve head HP = 8.5hp

95cc big valve head (Stroker kt) = 85-90km/h
95cc big valve head HP = 9-10hp

then you get into your 108's , 118's which can clock out anything above 85km/h depending on set up. Usually around 9-10 HP mark

Depends on set up , we tested stock and 88 limited. HP readings from Kamikaze and Daytona cataloges.
Should be around that mark

Check out planet mini's for mod crf's

woah thanks that helps heaps

Takegawa 124cc Super Head
High flow oil pump
Oil cooler
Takegawa hyper CDI unit
Takegawa 26mm Carb
Heavy Duty Clutch kit

how fast would that go about?

so it would beat most 125's and 140's?

so the 124 kit is worth it,
i reckon it would be fun to have a real mini :)
anyone no of a site with pics none are coming up on google images

were can you buy kits to make the crf50 man with clutch?

yeah i was looking at buying a crf50
than putting a kit on it not sure what size
but i want the bike manual with clutch like a normal dirtbike?

yeah my 108 is so fast and smooth, faster than my old 140 and 125 china's, the torque is really good and theres NO bog at all so its easy to ride and keeps putting out power smoothly all the way to top speed, i didnt think i'd like the auto clutch that much but its really good, i wouldnt go a manual clutch unless you're making it a 125 or somthing and even then you can just use a heavy duty auto clutch, but manual clutch kits are pretty cheap most shops sell them online.

how much would i need to spend on parts and kits to make it keep up with 125's if not beat them
if i buy one i want it fast so yeah haha right now im just getting info :)

Well just on the motor I think you can buy the TB 108 stroker kit for around $700 which changes your stock motor into a 108 then maybe a few other little bits and that'd do it, have a look at some shops online.
