cylinder boring. what and where?

Watup all, can someone please explain to me about cylinder boring? also how much this might cost to get done?
And if anyone knows where i get this done north of the river W.A
I have a fleabay 125cc

i got cylinder bored for $88 dollars. The lifan cylinders should be able to be bored out to 56mm without any harm.. you don't just bore out to piston size though, you need piston to wall clearence space too. I don't know where to et it done in W.A sorry

i dont meen to be blunt man
but if your going to put a big bore kitin it dont go and buy a lifan 140 motor
by the time you get your head bored replace your piston
then if you go over a certen size you will have to replace your valves i think
also rejeting your carby
to do it properly your up for about 300-500bucks

but if your doing in just to hone the bore because you've got no compression
then get it done

I agree. If you want to build a performance engine then start with a 140cc lifan and free flowing zauhst.

you got a lifan engine, although it doesn't start in any gear it's a good start (big valves), you can take that standard cylinder to 56mm, you can get a cheap one for under $50 at Akunar Motorcycle Parts & Accessories Thailand and then boring will be about $80..that will bring you up to 136cc.

Then you can upgrade the cam, and carby and you should be set with about 11-12 hp or so..should beat any stock pit bike

yeah i suppose so hay!
oh well. if it comes down to my chinese bike dieing after not that long then ill probably look at buying a genuine bike. for now its just to thrash the streets and a little bush with my mates!
